Event Date:
February 25, 2010
Event Description:

Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger in which individual communities develop their own events to support local food pantries. Community members come together to enjoy a simple meal of soup and receive a handmade ceramic bowl they take home for an event donation.

Tickets go on sale FEB 4th. For a donation of $10.00, you can receive an advanced ticket. Tickets are available in Art Rooms C105, C107, & C110. Please join us in the Commons for a delicious soup dinner and a hand made bowl. All proceeds will go to Katy Christian Ministries Food Pantry, serving the KISD area. KCM served over 7,300 families in 2009, totaling 21,800 individuals in the pantry alone.
